Yep, I am working from home but am so very grateful that it is Friday. And that means two days of almost unlimited stitching time! WOOOHOOO!

A bit of background. Our friend, Debbie, is very fond of the saying "When pigs fly!" and when we saw this chart released at market we knew we had to stitch it for her. We bought our supplies, Phyllis stitched hers, Sherry stitched hers, and we passed the kit along to our dear friend, Claire-Ann. Claire-Ann was hospitalized a few days after receiving the kit. Claire-Ann lost her battle to cancer in October 2014. Now, what to do? We asked her husband if he had seen the pigs around but he hadn't. Fast forward to a little dinner at Panera over the summer and a conversation what to do about the pigs as Debbie's birthday was coming. We decided to re-stitch the pigs, I would now stitch one and do the finishing. Because, after all, we did still owe her her gift from last year. And so now i'ts done. And they are off to their new home.

I was too tired to stitch last night after a work day and a dinner out with the girls. Hopefully, I will be able to do some tonight.
