Happy June

On the first day of the month, in addition to changing the page on the calendar I try to rotate my monthly decorations.  Here are the things I've changed out for June.

On the wall in the kitchen.  Monthly Mania by  Heart in Hand.

Hung on the knob on  the corner cupboard in the dining room.  Hearts of the Month by  Leisure Arts.

On an end table in the living room.  Santa of the Month by Curtis Boehringer.

My teapot and tea cup for June designed by Sam Sarah Designs and sitting on the counter in my kitchen.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Fun Every Day - January

Here is my second completed stitched piece in the Fun Every Day series by Sam Sarah Designs.  These are lots of fun to stitch.

Needleworker

I didn't take any progress pictures of Needleworker.  I have stitched this on 35 count Lambswool.  I have plans to finish this using the fabric in the background.

Little Sheep Virutes No. 4 - Courage

I have made a teeny, tiny start on this guy.

Sometimes the hardest part of project is committing to placement of the first few stitches.  That part is at least finished on this piece.

Home From Ocean City - Again

I spent the first weekend in May at Beach Retreat in Ocean City, Maryland sponsored by Salty Yarns.

First, let me say, Sara, Sally, and Mary are the most wonderful hostesses.  I always feel so welcome and special when I am there.

When I arrived I was given the agenda for the weekend (not too taxing) and this goodie bag.

Notice the gift card.  I brought that home with me to use the next time.

I shared Sea Robin 1 with my friends Stasi and Debbie.  I like this litte apartment.  I think it's where I stayed on my very first visit to Ocean City.

On Friday night I left one of these scissor fobs on my roommate's pillows.

I found this on my pillow when I went into bed from Stasi.  She thought that the button would make a great thread winder.  I have to agree.

On Sunday, I was given these goodies by Debbie.

Of course, it's not all about the stuff. I spent lots of time at the table in the dining room working on Little Sheep Virtues No. 3 Peace and Needleworker both by Little House Needleworks.  I  actually finished the stitching on Little Sheep Virtues No. 3.

And there was a bit of stash enhancement too.  I don't have pictures of that.  You'll see some of those projects in upcoming posts.
